not sure exactly........it may be Idle Air Control............maybe. It is located on the back of the intake manifold about 2-3 inches or so from the throttle body. It has (2) 12 mm bolts holding it in and also has 1 plug, 2 small hoses that route coolant and that should be it. Once off I noticed that there was a hole in one side of it and next to that was another hole with a screen in it. The screen was caked up with what looked like carbon so I cleaned it with carb cleaner and also sprayed it in the other hole. Shook it out and let it dry for a few minutes. Then put it back on. This is on my 94 Accord EX................yours should be the same way. My neighbors Prelude Si has the IAC on the front side of the manifold but it is the same process............just easier to work on than mine was.

 

OK thanx I'm off Tuesday so i will give it a shot then, all i know is its getting pretty damn anoying and it needs to be fixed.
