for all the electron blue pearl prelude owners, does ur color tend to turn purple-ish at night under a street light or at the gas station at night, mine does.....i dont really dig it...=(

 

not so purple-ish to me in this pic. but i do know what your talking about. makes our color look a little too fruity at night. but in the daytime, the best prelude color ever:thumbup:

I don't really like dark colors, but that is kick'n. Seems like every model year for 5th gens, they had one unique multi-layer color and 4 basic colors. I guess C.B.M. went to basic silver for 2001, right? Wasn't there an aqua blue/green in 1997-1998?

 

yeah souperfly, my car looks like that too, at night, i think itz under certain lighting, or maybe at a certain angle, like under the street lights on the neighborhoods, my car turns purple, most people give me props for it cuz it looks tight and "pretty." but there are some haters out there that call it gay, and i sometimes do think itz gay, at the gas station, at night, whoa, u can hella see the purple, but still see blue....can u take off the pearl?

hm..i like my bright red... but that is nice. looks a little better on a smaller car IMO (99/00 civic si is PERFECT).... but over all, it doesnt look to shabby. kinda grabs your eyes...

there is one in town and everytime it goes by, i look.

Depends on the light...afternoon lighting tends to make it look more purple. Bright light makes it look more blue. Also, a lot of camera's tend to take crappy pics of EBP, making it look more purple than it actually is.

But yeah I remember it looking purplish under certain lights
