Default suggestions for new tires?

im gonna be replacing my stock tires soon, hopefully. i need some suggestions on what performance tires to get. it has to be reasonably priced, good treadwear, and anything better than the stock re92's.

Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's are easily the best tire for the money. But if you have money to spend get some Bridgestone S-03's they are an excellent tire, one of the best in my opinion.

Good tire for the dollar would also be the Bridgestone RE730's.

ive heard that the kuhmo's have bad treadwear, so probably not gonna get those. how much do the re730's cost each? and my friend swears by nitto, how are nitto 450's?

Check tirerack for a price on the RE730's. As for Nitto's I've never heard one good thing about them from anyone that knew a good tire.

nitto 450's are not that bad, but they aren't very impressive either. one thing that i know for sure is they are noisy. i had them on the car when i bought the car, but personally i won't buy another set of them.

i'd probably go with Kumho Ecsta Supra 712, the treads are good that's what i heard. but if you abuse them, any kind of tires won't last long.

i also hear a lot of good things about the Bridgestone Potenza's, but then they are a lot mroe expensive than the Ecsta Supra 712, so i don't know if that's worthy because i know that my tires won't last long.

are you looking for summer tires only or all season performance?

If you want all-season, Dunlop SP Sport 5000s or SP Sport A2s

Well he/she could actually be doing like me and using this time to do research for some tires. They are definatly not cheap, so I'm looking at tires/wheels/prices now so I can start saving a little bit here and there.... come spring time.... new wheels and tires will be on my ride.
