Default Greddy kit for 5 Gen Preludes

Why is the Greddy kit for the 5 gen Prelude only for 97-99 models? I have been trying to get in touch with Greddy for a few days but no luck getting any answers. They have a groupbuy going on for roughly $2600.00...I'd like to know if there was any changes with the computer box that Honda made with the 2k and up Preludes.

the 'emanage' blue box does not like the different fuel maps on the 00-01 Preludes.
If you use an ECU from a 97-99 you will be ok.

97+ preludes are all the same. The only thing different is either it being a Base model auto, Base model 5spd, or SH model

To some degree but Coil is right on why they only offer the kit for 97-99.

How much is it normally for a 97-99 computer box? And how safe is a Turbo with stock internals? Considering I am only using a conservative 6 psi? I am looking at all my options and looking at the big picture which is the "cost". I have to replace my clutch as well and get new tires. And it could easily exceed 3k. Thanks guys!
