1995 Prelude Si
Im looking into purchasing a 1995 Honda Prelude Si. I was wondering what you guys thought about it, opinions, experiences, etc.
I was kind of saddened to see that it has the H23a1, rather than an H22. I figured the Si would be more performance based, but apparently not. Also disappointed that it's non-VTEC.
So now flood this thread with info for me.
Thanks in advance.

Overall excellent car...
My 1992 Honda Prelude was really my "first" car, and I had it for over 2 years before the timing belt went....
No mechanical issues with the car came across besides the problems left from the previous owner....car handles like a go-kart and was overall excellent to drive...
There is nothing special with Vtec besides the added 30hp

Yeah, it is a 5 speed. Definatly dont want an automatic.
Sadly...it sold. It was a great deal. Like 77000 miles or something. Selling for about $5000.
But i still want all the info i can get.
And the extra 30hp is nice. And VTEC in general is a nice "system" or whatever it would be called.

But now i dont care.
You didn't state what information you wanted, which could have meant you wanted the basics, I didn't know.
I don't think you'll find a ton of 4th gen owners here, so your best bet is probably to read reviews at carsurvey.org

Better yet, read the 92lude forums @ http://92lude.com/ . I'm sure you'll get what you are looking for.
