i have a 97 honda prelude with the automatic transmission with the optional manual shift thing the transmission has been rebuilt the previous owner had it done when i was given the vehicle the transmission was slipping but now when running or rolling it makes ni noise but when i apply the pedal it makes this sqeeking noise like rubber on rubber or something im think it a trans but unsure also is the any other automatic transmission the can go in it that arent the that slap shift version

 

Which pedal are you pushing in when it makes that noise? I'll do some research and see what I can come up with.

edit: Also, when you are asking if there is another transmission without the "slap-shift" feature, are you talking about the "Sport Shift"?
