Timing Belt broke
Just do a simple tension check. Use your thumb and press down and pull up at the longest part. Generally there shouldn't be more than an inch of give either way. If you can move it more than an inch, I'd be worried. Also inspect it for cracks or chips.
i have been in two times where i was driveing down the freeway and the timing belt came off and took it home and everone said that the head it junk u bent all your valves and i put it back on turned it over it started right up ran fine no ticks (b16a) and another time i was driveing and the car skipped timming because my cam gear came amost complety off and took it home turned to top dead center and strated right up ran fine(H22A4)

There's always a chance for the valves to be bent
