timing belt
It is my understanding that ALL honda engines get timing belts replaced at specific intervals. The H22a4 is designed to go ~105k, but personally I'd do it at 90K miles along with the water pump and general services that are called for at 30k intervals. That is what the book basically says.

If you drive hard, change it sooner. I plan on doing mine at around 80k (I'm at 69k right now). Better too early than too late. Remember, when you rev the engine to red line, whether you have VTEC or not, all the parts in the engine get torqued hard. Adds extra stress on the belts.
