What year? Test drive it, and check for the auto balancing shaft problem (grrrring noise coming from the engine on decleration only between 2500 rpm and idle). There is a TSB for it, but not a recall. I've seen some posts on HAN about it, though. My car is fine and it has 68,000 miles already. If it's a 2000 or 2001, good price. 1999 I'd say 14,500. You can't get leather on Preludes unless it's dealer installed, which isn't Honda quality, so they usually suck.
oh sorry, its a 1999 model. oh and edmunds.com said its worth:
Dealer Trade-In: What Others Are Getting $13,004
Private Party: What Others Are Getting/Paying $14,540
Dealer Retail: What Others Are Paying $16,076
Certified Used Vehicle $16,937
so i figure, if i goto the dealer and say "i'll give ya $14999" (of course plus their taxes and tags and crap) it would hurt a bit. most they could say is no!
