Default Tire brands

Hey Guys,

I got a '97 SH and I drive ~25k miles per year. In November I got new Toyo Proxes FZ4's and since then, the tires have worn down considerably.
I think these tires have a softer compound and that is why they are wearing so fast.
I do drive somewhat fast, but I never spin the wheels even in the rain.
So, my question is what do you guys have for tires? What might be a better tire than the Proxes in terms of softness/wearing rate?
Also, Id like better performance in the rain, the Proxes are not very good.
Any ideas?

Size is 205/50/16

Are Pirelli P6 Four Seasons any good?

they look like they have a longer treadwear life.

toyo tires are shitty. get some bfg g-force. they are expensive, but they handle like a mother phucker. treadwear 340 traction A temperature A

speed ratings of 129+ and 149+

they have extremely stiff sidewalls. http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/overv...port/2964.html

Thanks for the replies...
Just an update, I did get new tires.

I got the Fuzion VRi all season high performance tires. Much cheaper than the Toyos and will last longer. So far, I'm very pleased with them.
