Default Sticky Idle

I have a 92 Prelude and its an automatic and for some time now I have what I call a sticky idle. Mainly because once I touch the gas ... it acts as if I am still pushing on it for about 5 seconds or so. Usually to prevent it I just throw it into neutral to shut it up. But It becomes annoying and with the gas prices I kno it's hurting me. The pedal doesn't stick @ all. It just has a steady idle of about 1200 or so. Sometimes in fact it does it right as I switch into gear with out even touching the gas. I have never heard of any 1 else with this problem but 8in case someone may know the answer, any help would be greatly appreciated....
Thanks in advance...
Dave

Nope it just feels literally like a sticky idle. Almost like if you didnt actually look down you would think the pedal was still down a little bit. Someone had suggested to me to remove the throttle body and see if theres anything built up around the butterfly making that stick...
