Fog Lights
I got a 93 prelude and it has a plug on both sides of my front bumper for fog lights. If I put some jdm fog lights on it will they work? Will I need a switch or do they work from my headlight switch?
I assume you are talking about the black placeholders right next to the headlights?

Im sure the JDM ones would fit in there, make sure they are genuine and not some ebay knockoffs. To wire them in you can do it from either a switch or you can wire it in with your headlights (personally Id wire it in for when my low beams or parking lights were on). All you need is a ground and a power source, its your preference.

Its not the placeholders next to the headlight but on the bumper under the blinker. I already have a plug going there on each side for fog lights. I circled the places where i have the plugs in the pic just to make it more clear on what im talking about. Im just wondrering if ill need a seperate switch or not. Since the plugs are already there shouldnt i have a switch somewhere also?

You should have a switch on the armrest by the hazard lights, or up on the left side by the tweeters....If you need the switch I can sell it to you, since my Prelude is done for.
can u post a pic of wht the switch looks like? I have the switches by the tweeter but there is no fog light switch and i dont have any switches by the hazard button. If I buy this switch from you will I have to run wires or will I just need to plug it in somewhere?

Good luck!
forget about the switch. The switch works like this. You turn the foglight switch on, and the fogs will come on when the headlights are on. That is assuming you install the fogs into the harnesses that are built into your bumper.
I recommend cutting the harnesses and splicing them into the parking lights. When you have you parking lights on(which you can have on seperately OR run them with the headlights), they will be on. Good for daytime running-worked perfect for me.
They fit but you have to cut the perforated sectionin the bumper. ON the back of it there are little lines that show what to cut.
