Default blown 92 prelude

I have a 92 Prelude with a 2.3 automatic H23a1 motor with a blown bottom end, I hear these motors are real lemons. is there any easy compatable swaps and where do I find an affordable engine. Please, anybody with any ideas please respond I would greatly appretiate it.

I think you're mistaken

H Series motors are considered the Honda Big Blocks lol

Easiest and cheapest swap is an F22B DOHC, they run around $700

are you sure it's blown? I was told by this one repair shop that my head gasket was blown too... then I took it to the honda dealership and they said various seals and stuff were bad and they fixed it and it ran beautifully..... for about a week. then the distributor shat out it's bearing. soooooo..... confirm that it is blown. And do NOT replace it with another h23a1.... it's just an expensive resolution that could be solved for *drum roll* $700 with an f22b
