where is the gas smell coming inside the car and the check light is on

the smell is not coming from the cap

i'm guesing its the o2 sensor b/c thats what code my freinds prelude is throwing and his car reaks of gas.

its just a hose in the fuel injector not connected, the odor is gone
gas smell
