even if i got a new tranny put in, it should still have the matching code correct? also where would i find the tranny code?

Hmmm I thought it would tell you, my bad...

I am going to say that you don't have a type-SH, as I can spot an SH model from afar just because it has the body-colored side-skirts and moldings...

it depends on where you got your new tranny from. usually they put the same type of tranny in when replacing it. the tranny code is located on the white bar code label which is on the front side of the tranny. its to the left of where the engine code is stamped on the engine block.
