Default Engin Swap lude 92s to H22

I was thinking of switching out a crappy f22 engine out of my 92 lude to an h22 engine. Has anyone done this before? How much money am I looking at I'm guessing 4000 about at install, and difficulty of finding the parts and the parts I would need. I know things like a new tranny new engine, ecu and peddle kit for a auto to a manual change. Anyone done this before please help me out thanks.

It would be cheaper to buy a new 4th gen. with at least an H23 in it...then swap in the H22

yea but my problem is that I love the body style of the 92-93 the triangular tail lights and the small head lights. It looks sooo good with a body kit on it, and that engine swap makes it fast. I'm just a fanatic about this body style. So some help with info would be cool!

F22B Swap would put you right in the middle, its not worth puttin an H22 into your car with the tranny you have...Unless you buy the whole long block with tranny and harness.....Lookin at around 1500-2500, with ECU, Dizzy, and Harness
