Rack and pinion
what do you mean its loose. did you do it yourself?? make sure the rack is firmly mounted to the car. make sure that the steering shaft is properly attatched to the rack. finally make sure that all tie rod ends (inner and outer) are tight.
and go have it aligned. most shops will inspect a front end for free. once its on a hoist it should be easy to tell. if you cant take it to a shop. jack up the front and look at all steering components while some turns the wheel back and forth
maybe its just the feel of a new rack. but if you are unsure of the work try taking it somewhere else. you can also jack up the front like i said before and have a buddy jiggle the wheel back and forth and look for any slop
