Default Vehicle speed sensor questions

OK.. i now know that my speed sensor is not working.. and i have my car on limp mode(Vtec does not want to work) .. i purchased another speed sensor.. and waiting for it to be delivered to me.. i know my mechanic hands can do pretty much anything on my prelude.. but never have done a speed sensor hange.. if anyone has any experience.. is it easy to change out by myself.. or is it recommended to get a near by shop to do it for me...? i need opinions..

if it is easy to bolt off and on.. can you tell me where it is located and how to change it.. thanks

Standard I presume? Yeah I also searched all over the net never finding an answer, if you get a light, look directly down on the passenger side of the intake, it's on the back of the tranny, the sensor plug stands up (it's a 3 wire plug, only one back there. It' hard to see, I'll try to post pics.

Were in the same boat buddy. In my prelude I chirped 2nd gear all of this sudden my vtech goes out my speedometer stops working and my prelude doesnt want to idle at all. The first time it happened my brother in law and I started checking the fuses and relays. Surprisingly it worked all he did was mess with the speed relay. My speedometer my idle and my vtech all worked perfectly. Now last night I chirped 2nd gear and now it all stoped working again!!! So I tried messing with the speed relay and nothing this time so if anyone knows what the hell is going on please help.

by the way driver side dash, and another thing the speed sensor i believe is located right next to the battery on top of the transaxle. your lower radiator hose runs right by it. you dont have to go under the car. look like a little plug.
