h22a worth the swap ?
Sup to all, i have an ff22a4 (since i messed up my original f22a1) in my 94 prelude S. I'm considering getting an h22a, my questions for those who've done it, or have driven the lude with both motors. Is it worth the time and money for the power gains ? Can you feel a noticeable amount of differnence, or should i just keep what've I got ? thanx for any, all input.

I have owned an accord with an A20A3 w/122 hp, a 88 prelude with a B20a5 w/135 hp, and now I have an h22a in my 01 prelude, the obvious 200. So I have had some experiance with Honda motors. From my experiance, you will feel a huge differance from the f22a4 to the H22a. For one you would be gaining a raw 58 hp!! I am extreamly happy with the performance of the h22a. The engineering is awsome! Its a block I plan on keeping.
So if you want to get from point a to point b, get the cheaper f22a4. If you want performance, and something you can mod (plan on keeping it), then I would go with the H22a.
my pennies

have you considering turboing the f series? I can dig up a link to guy who did a dsm setup and got huge tq at pretty low rpms... it would never be a high revving monster, but if youre like me, thats not what its about.
