Default DC Sports Header

This is the second DCS header that has cracked @ the bracket where it mounts to the block. First one was installed April 2004, second installed August 2005. There won't be a third. I'm in "negotiations" with AEM for whatever good it'll do. Check your DCS header brackets, folks! If they're cracked, let 'em know.

Yeah, it does rattle pretty badly when it's cracked. I drove mine w/o it for a while after the first one broke. DCS just needs to look at their design, engineering and manufacturing process. Either make it right or don't put a bracket on there at all. Save the next guy/gal the trouble.

A DC header is just a waste of money. They don't give you very much HP for what you pay. IMO, should stick with stock, or save up and buy a SMSP or RMF header

That bracket will keep on breaking, its almost unavoidable. Its better to just cut it off before installing the header.

You think I'm putting that thing back on? I'm putting the stock manifold back on. I'm trying to make them take some accountability for their poor design. And a refund of some type would be nice.
BTW, if you've experienced this problem, let em' know!

I just noticed you're in the DFW area. You should come out to the NTPOG meets we have every 1st Sunday of each month. Also check out www.preludeonline.com cause alot of people from the DFW area are on that site

dang, the DC headers are really that bad huh.. same thing happend to my friend's prelude too... I was thinkin' about pickin' one up for about $150... is that a good deal for them? but if they really don't give that much horsepower, is it really worth it? what other brands make headers for the h22?
