I haven't had any issues with the ones in my car so unfortunately I don't know what might be causing your prob. When you find out what it is, post it.

Cool, thanks. Yeah I figured it was probably just my luck that we have this problem, but I'll let you guys know what it is/was when I find out.

I thought Ive had some wierd things happen to me, damn that sucks man. Electro-Luminescent gauges that went out would piss me off, your right man start pulling apart your dash and check some bulbs and fuses, if it aint that, than I hope you can solder because I think those gauges lost power to the main power feed wire that illuminates them. Its not the sending units or the assembly because only one of the two wouldnt work but you got bad luck cuz neither of them work sorry man
