i must change my 92 lude's gear & i only found 2 gear boxes in my city both of them are from an accord with F series engine..one is 93 & the other is 97 but i dont know if the 97 fits my prelude..so what should i get?97 or 93? it's urgent cz they r the only gears availabe & if i didnt get one i might end up without a gear box so plz help

Accords are geared differently than Preludes. I'm pretty sure the F series trans. will fit*, but your cars perfomance will suffer.

*unless you have a H22 (you didn't specify which type of Prelude you have)

 

Its a 92 so unless he did a swap its NON...Go with the 93 if its that urgent

how much are you paying for all of this? you might be able to find a used tranny for the same. i have an extra h23 tranny...

Ooooooooooooh You are putting an Accord tranny on an H22? OUCH! Like I said before, your performance is going to be noticeably different.

Also, F22B Prelude, see, he does have an H22.
