Supercharging a 92 Prelude H22
I have a 92 prelude with a brand new h22 engine which I had to replace since the old one god killed
. I don't like the slow 135 hp but I have fell in love with the car it's slef so I want to give it more hp with out a lot of work. I thought supercharging it would be easy, no worrying about turbo controlers and other parts. The thing is thats its an automatic trany and I know I wouldn't get much out of a turbo and just be wasting my time so I ask you guys what do you think? Turbo or supercharger and what type of supercharger would you guys/gals think. CAR 92 prelude H22 engine non vtech stock 118,000 miles.

There is no such thing as an H22 Non-Vtec
You have an F22A...like i suggested to you before, If i were you I would buy an F22B DOHC, and turbo that, same results as an H23 with a cheaper price.

i wold swap an h22 in it ,that f22 is just not a good base motor plus trash the a/t you get more horseys to the wheel out of an m/t you lose a lot threw the tork converter of an a/t up to 20%.then with a h22 boost that way more power for the buck if your going to do it and spend some money go big
