Preludes built in Japap

if the vin starts with a j it was bilt in japan but that dosent meen is a japan spek lude it just means it was bilt in japan and shiped its a us spak lude if it start with a 1 it was built in us a 2 is canada a 3 is mexico a s is uk and a 5 is i dont know but 5s are out there(pilot cr-vs)

I think also the sticker in the driver door frame says "built in Japan" but I might be mistaken. :dunno:
Alot of Hondas are built in Japan, but some of the more common civics and acuras are built in the US or Canada. My EG was built by Honda of Canada. My bro's 02 SI was built in England, and my 97 lude was built in Japan. I'm pretty sure my other bro's 98 accord was built in US.
It all depends where the manufacturer can make money and still afford to produce the car...
