is it an auto?
if so, you may be fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked. If it is manual, maybe not as bad, but still not good. You need more details for anybody to help you. What exactly is going on? Will it not go into gear, or will it grind, or what?

Did you ever have the fluid changed??? If not and you have a bunch of miles, and your friend was hot-doggin it...he may have screwed up your tranny...Read my post https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...97#post3158297 about the SS tranny. Actually reverse not working is one of the first signs your trannies goin out.

BTW, if you have it changed, drain and fill, flushing will probably ruin it for sure.

Maybe he shifted from 5 into R and killed the synchro and gear.

I bet he did what I've heard of before, rolling forward and shifting it in reverse, or possibly just forcing it in reverse. He probably bent one of the shift forks.
