Default They can't get it right

sup everyone............so i finally get my car back after a my 94 ludes timeing belt broke, and some valves bent, only to take the car back to the shop cuz it was running really slow and sluggish because they didn't have the belt put on right, now it gets to go back for a third time on tuesday because they didn't seat one of the valves right and it's burning oil out the a$$................before the car went in it shifted fine through all the gears, but when i got it out, the shift to 2nd, and 3rd is really rough and shakes like its not getting enough gas " even if my pedals to the floor ", anyone know what that problem might be ? suggestions, comments, ne thing would b greatly appreciated thanx:madr:

Did they rebuild the head?

if you have high miles then rebuildeing the head will cause nothing but trouble because you have a fresh head ans bottom end with 100k + miles oil will get pushed through the rings on use oil thats why when it happens a total motor rebuild or replacement is recommended.

Too bad you werent a member of this forum BEFORE the timing belt broke. Replacing it would have been the easiest way to prevent all of that. Im sure you know that though.

i know this sounds dumb but it sounds like the shop dont know whats goin on try some simple shit like firing order and timing

i feel your pain. i went to get my timing belt replaced and they loosend some wires in the alternater, im driving down the road and all the elctronics go, the the engine slowly dies, it took them 2 weeks to figure out what was wrong..but i get free oil changes for life now. so its all good
