Most Maacos uses sherwin williams water based paint. Its aplicapble(sp) with clear coat. You just pay extra for a shit job but not as shitty job.

umm, he did? at least i thought he said he did it there--unless he was just quoting their price he did mention them. it really doesnt look like a maaco work of art tho.

yes, it is a maaco job. it is the highest of their 4 jobs, which is their only base-clear paint job.

what is the best color for 4th gen preludes mine is balck but shows every spec of dirt. so im washing it twice a week, i want a color that doesnt show dirt and one that looks very slick at the same time

LOL! You find a color that won't show dirt and you'll have found the "missing link"! Best to just go with what you like on the car instead of worrying about how well it shows dirt.

BTW, that's a damn nice color on that 'Lude! I was thinking about having mine done in a pearl black... now I'm SURE I will... Looks great!

I had a silver 96 Civic ex and it looked good all the time. Silver is a great color and doesnt show that much dirt or road grime. Now that my Lude is black im washing all the time h:
