OK I know your all gonna laugh but i fell in love with a car I found at the junk yard. its an 89 prelude. It is US Specs which is kinda hard to find since im a soldier stationed in germany. well i got it started and it runs alright and i think after a new electrical system and a tune up it will run really well. the only problem is i have really bad rattle, almost clapping coming from both sides of the back suspension it almost sounds like its in the back dash so its kinda high. no its not anything under the speakers its really loud. dont know much about rear suspensions. anyone know what this could be??

 

also does anyone know, do you have to use any kind of adhesive when you change a valve cover gasket?

 

do you hear the noise at idle? or how fast were you driving? or when you make turns?

 

no it only rattles when i hit bumps and when i get up to about speed and it almost goes away when i hit curves.
