i am doing a h23 vtec motor. trying not to do anything to fancy. i am wondering can you take the throttle body off from the h23 and use it on a h22? and my friend has been telling me.. because the car is an automatic.. and i am changing it to manual... i need a diff throttle bodie cause of that.. just trying to learn as i go.. this is a new project for me..

 

your friend is right, sorry. The throttle linkage cable is totally different and you can't change it out or modify it without direct replacement sorry again but your buddy is going to say I told you so..
