Default Price of installation?

Around how much do you all think it would cost to fit and respray a car with a body kit. The body kit is the Invader style. Anyone capable of giving me a rough estimate? I know there is plenty that it would probably depend on. Any help is great appreciated.

to respray the whole car, it depends on what color, how many coats, and the quality of the paint job. At Maaco they will overspray your car and sag the paint for only $200 using a single stage enamel coat. For a professional paint job with a couple coats of color and a couple coats of clear, my guess is about $2000-2500

yea, complete with hiro lip kit, jdm fenders, and just got the motor in. ahhh soo much work at once. well to answer your question, we usually charge around $1500 on the cheap side for a car that just needs sanded down, masked and sprayed. we like to paint them in pieces, like how mine is apart... that runs you a little bit more. it is around $50.00 to remove and install a bumper with no extra fitment required. soo for a good job, and not much body work invovled your looking around 2500-3000.

jdmhondalude22-

I imagine that molding a body kit to a car must be pricey due to the time and labor involved. What is the going rate these days per hour at body shops? I know it varies by area, so a ballpark figure is fine.

BTW: Nice job on your Lude- you have fine taste in colors. :goodjob: Any speed bumps in your town?
You're really ridin' low in front! :grinpimp:

no, for the most part our roads are pretty ok, if you know where to go and how to drive a lowered car. yea, the pic of my car with the black hiro front lip is really low... i could probably drive it like that, but it wouldnt last long, the car has been raised up a tad since then.
our labor rates are at 42.00 an hour. and i strongly suggest you dont mold your kit. yea most of them look good, but over time it will eventually crack. your molding fiberglass to steal,... doesnt really go together well.
