i remember this kid back in my highschool HE had a twin cam corrola and cut his springs. The shocking part was that his car would bounce on even road...lol
well then get some coilovers...I'm running on some Ground Control coilovers with KYB AGX's and it rides pretty good. I have my car lowered just enough to feel in the wheel gap with plenty more room for lowering
lol. yeah i rode in a 6th gen accord coupe with cut springs. oh man i never had to take a leak so bad in my life. i swear you'd think i had drank a 5th of captain all by myself.
Well what do you guys think of skunk2 and dropzone springs? And cut springs arent as bad if there aftermartket springs and with aftermarket shocks right?
cut springs are always bad because most springs are variable spring rates - they are soft at the top, and get progressively stiffer the farther down you go. when you cut them, 1, it changes the spring height, and 2, you're losing the progression. basically, springs are designed to be a whole spring. cutting is just plain wrong.
i don't know much about coilovers. i do know skunk2 is supposed to be REALLY aggressive. they're good shit, from what i hear... i'm hoping someone with more personal experience will chime in. if you're looking for a better look with a comfortable ride, and not so much for race-track performance, skunk2 might be too aggressive (harsh riding) for your taste. but again, i want someone who KNOWS to chime in.
