So this happened awhile ago way back in February when i lent the car to someone i was helping out by mounting and balancing his tires for free at school. Everything is still a little blurry to me. Can someone help me figure out what the hell happened to my hood?

Is it dent, scratch or a dent/scratch?

 

its cracked all the way through the clear, gel and weave. In the center it sinks a little bit.

 

Either something fell on it, or someone sat on your hood

 

Well I didnt drop anything on it and I never let anyone sit on it EVER. I know its not the strongest crap so I didnt do anything to crack it like that.

 

Maybe your friend did it when you let them borrow it

 

Well it wasnt like that when I gave it to him and it mysteriously happened when he had it in his possesion. LOL at friend too

 

People seem to think that carbon fiber is really strong and for some reason, they like to stand or sit on cf hoods to show off and say they "look, they don't dent" I have seen a few cf hoods that can withstand this abuse(really expensive top-end hoods, $1000 and up) but the ones that can't, look like that. Either he stood or sat on it, or he used your car to get lucky with a lady friend... right on your hood
