yes the hood is VIS it fits just as good or better than fiberimages, and no i dont cover the vent , i have no problems until i get a turbo because the vent is just over the exhaust manifold(sorry this is shadowz using my buddies account)

btw.. you have a white shiftboot i noticed.. my bf wants a white one.. is it hard to keep clean? he cleans out his car ATLEAST once a week.. and who made it? i'm getting him a Momo Cobra in Carbon Fiber...
