The ECU is the difference....And by aftermarket what do you mean?

Im not to knowledgable about 5th gens. but i do know that

92-95 non Vtec = P14
93-95 Vtec = P13

Then you have to do the conversions for ODB1 to ODB2

IE....OBD1 is 96 or before and OBD2 is 96 or after (96 or 95 i can't remember)

Default Ecu

I mean Mugen, Jen, or I was told I could use an ecu off a type r for higher revs, more gas and air intake, etc..Mines a '97 so i know it's OB2(i have probs with bank 1 AND bank 2)..And i believe its 96 and up for OB2..so i would prob have 2 buy a aftermarket ecu for 97-01?

Those chips are pointless unless your boosted, and even then a good tune will do way better than an ebay chip
