Default battery brand?

well got the system/alarm in the other day... and i listened to a couple songs.... went into work... wouldnt start ont he way out. it was raining heavy. also the next day it wouldnt start in the rainy morning(no previous stereo usage)......
the battery is dying, so i will replace it, although during the rainy morning it wouldnt start, the headlights would still shine(and both times the alarm was working)
not sure if im just stupid with my alarm, or my batterys dying or maybe a loose connection, but its workeda few times since its stopped raining heavy.
either way, the batterys old. what sort of battery should i get? ive got an amp running 600W rms+my polks running off the headunit.
i searched and found optima.. but they claim they have nothing for the prelude... what do you suggest?

Optima battery if you going to add more electronics to your car. If you just going to put it under normal use, Sears Diehard should do. Also, you might want to check your battery terminals. They may be loose.

would you consider the 600w rms sub/amp and the speakers powered off the headunit optima material? if so, which model? their website claims they dont have one for a prelude...

buy honda geniune battery. it comes with good warranty and its not that expensive. you get what you pay for! i got mad electronics in my 97 lude and the honda battery is just fine. I got a kenwood touchscreen tv, all kenwood speakers, a 1200 watt kenwood amp and two kicker tens. oh Im also running a radar detector and sirius satellite radio. with all that ive had no problems and if you do just take it to the dealer and they will give you a new one under warranty!
