My friend found a 1995 Prelude Special Edition for $3495 but it has 150,000 miles on it. Now, how many horsepower come stock on an SE? Also, how much would the complete H22 engine cost? Thanks everyone.

 

about 5k for you not to install it.. with all the other parts.. engine at a decent price....

 

o and it's the Si motor in the SE.. so about 160hp...

 

you sayin 5K for a complete motor/tranny without installation or what exactly? cause there are places here in so. cali where you can get a 50K mile h22a4 from japan motor/tranny/ecu without installation for 3K, installation can be quite costly though......

 

yeah in california.. welcome to the problem on the east coast and many other places around the country.. most of us aren't that lucky to go to a local place period.. the closest place i could get a JDM motor for my car was Virginia..

but i was talking 5k with installation....

i dunno what availability is like in texas but get a hold of the NTPOG.. north texas prelude owners group and i'm sure some guys will be glad to come out for the install and locate all the parts you'll need... ntpog.org
