Default suspension question

i have a 98 5 speed prelude, when i turn left for the past couple of weeks ive been able to hear a slight cranking sound that repeats rather quicky... its gotten louder recently and it sometime occurs for several seconds when im driving straight after a turn, the sound is coming from the drivers side.. i think it might be the drivers side cv joint. but im not sure and wanted to see if anyone has ever had any experience with this..thanks

Check the boot to see if it's torn or leaking any grease.

cv joint. and it can still be messed up even if the boot is intact.
