4th gen AEM cai

Default 4th gen AEM cai

Hello:

Wondering what is different between aem cai for 5th gen and 4th gen, i have 92 lude , ordered an AEM cai from E-bay and got a 97 one lol. Any body knows if it fits with some modification? seller is asking for a 20% restocking fee from original price (180)+ s&h which is 55$,not looking into returning the cai, any help will be appreciate it.

Should fit just the mounting hardware will not. I have a 4th gen prelude intake on my Accord 5th gen.

the 5th gen accord and the 4th gen prelude were around at the same time. the 5th gen prelude came after the 4th gen prelude. might still work tho. try it and let us know.

if it doesn't fit with some pushing, I bet if you cut part of it and put in an air bypass valve it'll give it the flexability to get crammed in there.

Im working on it, but things changed now....i bought a jdm h22, now we are talking of a different motor in the car (is the right intake for the motor , but not the chassis) so ill post some pics when i finish the swap

yeah, but there's no difference in where the throttle body is or what's in the way, so it'll be the same. Only difference is the throttle body is bigger, so you may doubtedly need a bigger connector there. GL with that BTW. I wish I had done that when I had the chance.

You are right there , but i cut the pipe to fit the bypass valve, and have some fitment issues, working on a solution to the fitment with some straps, but overall it fits pretty well
