Default exterior mods I am doing.

My lude as of now:

The Wing I move onto next, is a Techno R Carbon wing Is the one posted below, while the base of the wing will be painted white to match.

Then the taillights, I have a pair of taillight covers painted matching white, and am awaiting the smoke paint I ordered to arrive in which the open circle and the turn signal/reverse light area will only be seen and smoked black, but only a slight amount to give the black appearance not completely black to match the headlights as well as the trim around the car.

I am installing amber sidemarkers to match the amber turn signals and corner light on the new headlights I have yet to get. I have the JDM Black housing with a custom amber corner. (I like the amber look :P)

Last and not least, I am going to order an OEM carbon hood, but on the sides of the cowl will be painted white so only the cowl is carbon appearance, and also sparco hood pins will be installed where the hood is painted white. This layout is to show off the curves and accentuate the carbon on the wing as well as on the hood, I believe this will look extremely unique and aesthetic.

I will update with pics as soon as each stage is completed, I wanna know whatcha guys think!

thanks

How come you got 8 spokes on the rim in the front and 10 on the one in the back?

Ummm....painting the CF hood white on the edges is not unique...I see it everywhere. I for one am not a fan of that wing since it would also prove no functionality on a FWD. The smaller OEM wings that came on that year along with the 5th gen I think are just a nice added touch.

But it is your car...so it is up to you how you want to make it look.

Yes the front are 8 spoke, and the rear are 10, same brand and same style just the rear ones are 10 spoke and the front are 10, i like the way it looks

I'm not buying the wing for functionality, I'm buying it for some added style because I didn't like the way the oem one looked.

and I live in jersey and have only seen one person with a painted carbon hood, and not to mention you have to imagine the wing, also lining up with the path of the carbon on the cowl, it looks really good in my head

I was thinking about lowering it, but I'd need to show you a pic of my driveway and you'd see why :P

It's already a sick ass incline not to mention all gravel with roots sticking out of the ground almost 6-8 inches... I hate my driveway.

well if you have a side walk you can angle it so you very gradually go along the side walk at n angle so you move up the curb with out scraping.

im sure if you only lowered it 1.5-2 in. you should be fine

but then again i havent seen your driveway.
