what does this model(prelude sh) have in the tranny.....i read it but didnt know what it was, its like attv or something.......anybody know?

 

ATTS, active torque transfer system i think? It helped the handling of the car, hence (type SH being super handling)

What ATTS does is for instance as you're making a right hand turn the left wheel is forced to move significantly faster since it travels further and the right wheel will slow down considerably to enchance the angle of approach on the turn. At least thats my understanding of how it works...

That is correct as far as what it does. However it is not iside of the tranny at all. It sits on the driver side of the tranny where the base modles half shaft is it just replaces it.

i think they are all wrong,

the prelude u are talking about have 4 wheel steering. the rear wheels turn slightly in the same direction for better handling. u dont find those kind of preludes often

 

The ATTS is revamped 4WS that they including in the 5th gens, where as the 3rd gen had the only mechanical 4ws system ever, then they changed it in the 4th gen to the electronic 4ws similar to what a skyline would have and finally to the ATTS including in the 5th gen.
