I have a 84 prelude that sat for about 6 mos. when i finally got it started back, its running odd now. i have the manual for the car but have had no luck w/ the problem. when i start it up it acts like the idle is sticking. itll stay around 2000 rpm's. i have to turn the wheel on the drivers side of the throttle cable back a notch to get it to calm down. (900rpms) and when i hit the gas again it sticks back at 2000. when i take it down the road, it drives ok in the beginning of the gears, but when it gets up around say 3000 rpms. it dogs right out. then when i come off the gas it acts like it gets more gas then it should.. anybody w/ any help....

 

Check the Choke on the Carbeurator(sp).
