Default jdm light price

theres a few sets on ebay for 250, it seems to be the cheapest? what do you think? is that reasonable? from what i understand the price has came down in recent years.

Yeah, the price has definatly come down over the years. Let's see, when I bought mine, I payed 330. My brother bought a set for his lude about 1 year ago for like 220. My brother got in an accident 4 months ago and paid like 180 for a MINT set. Really just look out for good deals on ebay. I wouldn't bother with the JDM sites on the internet, they generally charge too much.

Whatever you do please don't get these bo-bo ones that just came out.......

those lights are not a plug and play swap. You have to splice the harnesses to get the jdm ones to work. I bought a set that didnt have the plugs on the back so i had to rig some stuff to make them work. Make sure that which ever ones you get have the harness on the back of them it will make it a whole lot easier.

The swap is VERY easy. You really don't need the harness(bulb connectors really) with the lights, in fact you will probably save money buying a set without. Just go to autozone and buy a set of H4 connectors for $5. They're better than the factory ones too.

BTW, mikesta here is what the bulb connectors look like...

Other than the lights themselves, that is all you need for the swap.
