Default rattle from engine!

i deleveloped an engine rattle

seems to be coming from around the center or behind the motor
i dont know what it is

and the faster the rpms the faster the rattle!
so its going with the rpms

i think it may be a bad piston ring
some1 said maybe the engine bearings but yeah its coming from the center not the bottom

i really dont know it didnt rattle before today and the oil is 1500 miles old and about 3 months old its brown but yeah im not sure

any suggestions?

also some1 said it could be the starter bearings

Does it sound like a knock or rattle? Could be a spun rod bearing. What year is your car and how many miles?

rattleing for sure

its pretty loud its not the normal ticking from the valves its louder

i did a test and took the plug wire off each cylinder to see if the ticking would go away and it did not

i think it maybe a bad piston ring, maybe a bad starter that is rattling or something its really annoying the oil isnt that old its about 1500 miles and 3 months old the motor doesnt shake the car it runs smoothe i just hear this rattling and its really annoying

i took the belts off the alternator and off the power steering/ac but its not that

um it sounds like its around piston 3 or 4 around the center almost like something is loose and rattling around there the motor looks solid front and back i dont see the headers or exhaust rattling and the rattle will increase in speed when i increase the rpm

almost sounds like a piston ring is loose but i dont wana dig in there and find out it was something else

Unless the piston ring completely came off and is wiggling in the cylinder then maybe. Have you checked heat shields? Can't be starter, starters don't move unless your starting the car and if it was loose, you won't be able to start your car because it gets the ground like that. If its a really loud tick tick tick with the engine, then its a rod bearing. But I would check the easy stuff first, check all the heat shields and check for loose components before you go further.
