Default Ground Wires?

Anyone have any experience with Greddy grounding wires?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GREDD...33219672QQrdZ1

The seller states:
YOU ARE BIDDING ON A BRAND NEW UNIVERSAL GROUND WIRE SYSTEM WITH GREDDY LOGO !!
BRAND NEW IN BOX.
PREVENT POWER LOSS.
ENSURE TOP PERFORMANCE OF IGNITION.
INCREASES THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM.
LOWER THE ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE.
GAINS INSTANT HORSEPOWER 8-10HP.
STABILIZES THE ENGINE AT HIGH RPM'S.
SMOOTHER IDLING & IGNITION STARTING.
BETTER FUEL CONSUMPTION WITH IMPROVED COMBUSTION.
IMPROVES QUALITY OF SOUND SYSTEM.
BATTERY HEAD, ALUMINUM PLATE CONNECTOR, SCREWS & MOUNTING PLATES WILL BE INCLUDED.

Now, I don't believe the instant 8-10 HP gains, but what I want to know is, for $30, is this a piece worth buying for overall performance enhancement?

You would save money and shipping time if you made your own. Just use some amp power wire.

Ah cool, thanks for the response. Is the plate that they connect to something already in the car? I've never delved too far into my engine before. Is there a specific gauge to use for the wire?

Know of anywhere I can read up on it? I'm a little iffy on just jumping in there with no knowledge. What parts am I going to be grounding anyway? I can guess the alternator and maybe the ignition, but I'm a total noob on the subject.

From the factory, there are grounding wires throughout the engine bay. You could start by replacing those and cleaning the stock grounding points.
