Default h22 question

I’ve seen there is a difference in horsepower between h22s. I understand that the last model of prelude had more power then the generation before it. I’ve also seen that some of the last models of h22 some had 200hp and some had 220 hp. How does one tell the difference between all these different engines labeled h22?

USDM H22A1-190hp(92-96)

JDM H22A-220hp(92-96)

H22A4-200hp(97-01)

To my knowledge this is the setup

H22A4 97-98 195hp
H22A4 99-01 200hp

The "magic" 5 hp has never been proved or explained.

The Japanese Type-S motor produces 220hp (H22A) while the base Japanese motor (H22A) produces 200hp
Im not too sure how to tell them apart from the engine codes.

No. I'm not sure the difference in between the K20Z (Si) or the K20A2 (RSX-S) that accounted for the drop though. The RSX is now rated at 201HP for 2006 vs. the 2005's figure of 210HP even though it "makes the same power."
