Default 4th Gen USDM vs JDM bumper

what are the differences between USDM and JDM bumper? i'm thinking of switching to JDM bumper and headlights. do i need JDM bumper support as well? or i can use original USDM bumper support? is there any other modification needed for bumper and headlights conversions?
thanks!

There is no difference whatsoever between the bumpers. The bumper supports are different though. The japanese bumper support doesn't need to pass strict impact ratings like here in the US so it is substantially lighter.

For the headlights, the only modification needed is to the headlight wires. All that you do is cut off the 9005 and 9006 plugs and solder h4 ones on.
