Default dirty prelude pedals

well since ive got my car, ive noticed that i get this greyish dirt around where my right foot touches upon the clutch while breaking.(thinking about it now, it really shouldnt if i knew how to drive)
i tried cleaning the pedals before, and their seemed to be little dirt on them.
today while cleaning i rubbed the right edge/side of the clutch pedal really hard with a wet cloth and the same greyish stuff came off. it seems almost like those stock rubber pedal covers are deteriorating a bit. Has anyone else had the same problem? maybe if i paid attention to where my feet were i wouldnt have this problem.

Dude, just get some OEM rubber pedal covers from Honda. You can get the clutch and brake ones for like $8.

Or you could kick it up a notch with some MOMO ones. When I got my lude it didn't have the rubber, so that's what I did.
