Default Prelude pricing(car for sale)

hey just wondering... what would you guys pay for a silver 94 prelude si
with 126k, 5spd, one accident i know of..(the seller is fixing it, local body shop owner/friend is the one selling)

It seems like good mechanical and cosmetic condition...
what should he ask?
he was thinking 4200-4700, but what do you think?

thanks

Depends how bad the wreck is and the condition of the car, and if it still has a clean title.

Not necessarily. I've got 230,000 on my odometer, the car had been rear-ended before I got it, and I rolled it all the way over on top of it's roof in another accident .......still runs and drives like a champ. I guess it all depends on the owner.

i purchased my civic that was in a front end collision (later repaired) for 4700. seeing as its 3 years newer with a little bit more mileage then what your asking, id say 4500 max.

DEPENDS ON THE OWNER, AND THE REPAIR FACILITY. I'VE BEEN IN THE PAINT AND BODY BUISNESS FOR 26 YEARS. IF IT WAS JUST A FENDER BENDER, NO BIG DEAL. IF THERE WAS SUB FRAME OR SUSPENSION DAMAGE, THATS OKAY TOO, AS LONG AS THE SHOP DOING THE WORK IS EQUIPED TO DO THE WORK. IF THE CAR IS TOO BAD, THE INSURANCE COMPANY WILL TOTAL THE CAR OUT. HENCE SALVAGE TITLE, THESE CARS ARE BEST TO STAY AWAY FROM, AS IT USUALLY TAKES TWO TO THREE WRECKED CARS, TO MAKE ONE DECENT ONE. THATS THE ONES WITH ALL OF THE PROBLEMS. MY CAR JUST HAD A BLOWN MOTOR, AND WAS IN NEED OF SUSPENSION WORK.
