Default '90 Prelude wheels-which will fit it?

I have a '90 Prelude that I am restoring. I know that it has the 4X100mm lug pattern. I would like some aluminum wheels but have discovered that these wheels are difficult to locate.

I'd like to know where I can find information that shows what wheels from other Honda models or other type cars will fit mine.

My Prelude is red and I had found a set that are factory with red accents but was told that they are not made for the '90, only the 92 and after.

I have found several sets on ebay but hesitate to bid. Haven't had much success locally, either.

Anybody got a source fror this information or for these type wheels?

Thanks

Are you wanting stock wheels or aftermarket? There is a sleu of Honda/Acura stock wheels that will fit 4x100 (Civic, Integra, Del Sol, CRX ETC)

I once had an 88 but my wheels had hubcaps with the Honda emblem on them since yours is the same gen. I would have to say thats the best "stock" wheels you can do, If you put 4th gen rims on your 3rd gen. I dont think it would look to nice, www.tirerack.com, you can pick your car on the website, and they will put the wheels of your choice on your car and it will show up on the computer.(try before you buy)

^^ what he said.

You should be able to fit most any Civic four lug wheel.

I have found that they lug pattern for anything after '91 is 115mm so that won't work. I'd like stock aluminum if possible but after market would work. Thanks for all the tips, guys.

Further.. I'd like to go to 15" wheels, which, of course, are not "stock". I know this complicates matters but I'm still just looking. Thanks again.

civic/integra/crx etc wheels will bolt right up. just throw some gsr blades on there and be done with it. or maybe some fat 5s would look better.

exactly....plenty of stock 15 honda wheels to choose from. clear your head......i know this is a hard concept for you....civic...or integra...or crx....delsol....rangine from years 86-04 civic....86 to 01 integra....92-up del sol. they all work. you have the most common size honda lug pattern. so...lets recap.....ls mesh, gsr blades, gsr swirls, 99-00 civic si wheels. those are all 15s and would work

ooooh, i vote for the 99-00 si wheels! i think those would look sick on the 3g lude! they should run you around $300/set, with tires already on em.
