Default JDM H22 with LSD tranny

I just purchased a jdm motor that included an LSD tranny. I have the motor installed and running. My car originally was an auto, but I did the 5-speed conversion. I haven't fully installed all the parts to complete the coversion because I am searching for the clutch fluid reservior. My question is what is the difference between the lsd and a regular tranny. Does it help any for performance.

LSD stands for limited slip differential. It helps greatly with handling and traction. Instead of giving power to the wheel with least resistance like a regular tranny, it gives power to both wheels. Congratulations with your swap, and welcome to HAN.
